YOU ARE NOT ALONE

Before you start

This is not your fault. You do not have to face it in a panic.

Sextortion and image abuse run on shame, isolation, and speed. You are not alone in this, and you have not done anything to deserve it. Take a breath — the steps on the right are things you can do for yourself right now, for free, before anyone asks you for anything.

You never have to send us the images to begin.

The links where the content is posted and a way to reach you is enough to start. If a platform later needs a specific piece of evidence, we tell you exactly why — and what to leave out — before you send anything.

What to do in the next few minutes

  1. 01Do not pay, and do not reply to threats.Paying or engaging a blackmailer almost always leads to more demands, not fewer. You do not owe them a response.
  2. 02Do not delete — capture instead.Screenshot the profiles, messages, and links, with the date and web address visible. That record is what gets content removed later; deleting it removes your leverage, not theirs.
  3. 03Lock down your accounts.Change passwords, turn on two-factor, and tighten who can see or message you. It closes the easiest doors while your case gets underway.

Free official tools you can use right now

These are free and run by others — not us. Use them whether or not you ever open a case here. When you are ready, your private case starts just below.

PRIVATE CASE START

One website. One private record.

Tell us once. We reach out.

Send one safe pointer and a specialist reaches out — no payment until you have spoken.

NO PHONE · NO PRIVATE FILE · NO SUBSCRIPTION

1 / What needs attention?

One public location or account is enough. Do not paste private messages, ID numbers, images, or video.

4 / Who is opening the case?
5 / Choose the paid scope
Under 18 or unsure? Stop and use the official child-safety route.

No card is taken now. A specialist reviews what you sent, reaches out to confirm fit and answer questions, and only then shares a secure link. If the scope cannot be accepted, you are told before anything is charged.

Re-Removal Promise

If a URL we removed comes back at that same location, we re-remove it free for as long as we operate. If we exhaust every path and genuinely cannot, that specific removal is refunded.

  • Covers the exact URL we removed at that location — newly posted or reposted-elsewhere content is a fresh case.
  • "For as long as we operate" means the promise lives as long as AboutUs does.
