APPENDIX C — TERMS & REFUND POLICY
FILE US-NCR/2026TERMS & REFUND POLICYCLASSIFICATION: CLIENT-CONFIDENTIALLAST UPDATED: JULY 2026

Public terms. Client record sealed.

These terms cover the fixed-price rate card. The public page names the money rail, safety stops, acceptance review, refund posture, and cancellation boundary. The AboutUs client record carries the written boundary, private answer, and client-only receipt after review.

Boundary

Work is written down.

The written boundary, stop limits, and excluded items are separated before work starts.

Check refund boundary

Acceptance

Authorization is not acceptance.

Card authorization opens review. If the rate card is the wrong fit, authorization is refunded before work begins.

See the review rule

Payment

Stripe is the payment rail.

Card details go to Stripe, not to our servers and never to a private account or the person pressuring you.

Verify payment rail

Safety

Sensitive work moves away.

Minors, intimate images, sextortion, and unclear mixed cases do not belong in public authorization.

Open client-record check

Engagement receipt

A serious file leaves a paper trail.

The terms are not decoration under the authorization button. They are the control layer: boundary, payment, evidence, safety, and refund posture in one place before work starts. Case-specific handling stays inside the client record.

No private payment account. No public authorization for intimate-image, sextortion, or minor-involved matters. No legal-advice positioning. No certainty language hidden behind a refund headline.
REVIEWCONTROL

Authorization opens review.

Card authorization creates a file for human review. Wrong-fit files are refunded before work starts.

BOUNDARYCONTROL

The label is named.

Work scope, fallback posture, official boundary, and stop paths stay separate before acceptance.

EVIDENCECONTROL

The file starts light.

Pointers and limited context are enough for the first check; sensitive material stays out.

CLOSECONTROL

The exit is written down.

Work scope, refund posture, cancellation terms, and safety referrals are visible without exposing the sensitive file.

Pre-authorization deal room

These terms control the handoff.

The public terms name the perimeter: when money may move, when AboutUs work may start, when the case leaves the rate card, and what the client can verify later.

AUTHTERM

Authorization opens the room.

Payment authorization creates a review record. It is not AboutUs work until the boundary, intended outcome, and refund posture are written.

BOUNDARYTERM

The record names the boundary.

Work scope, fallback posture, stop limits, official boundaries, and referral items stay separated before work starts.

MONEYTERM

Stripe is the rail.

Card data goes to Stripe. AboutUs does not ask for wires, private accounts, threat-actor payments, or off-file rescue fees.

EXITTERM

The wrong fit leaves cleanly.

Declined, minor-involved, sensitive, or otherwise wrong-fit matters move to refund, private case review, official reporting, or client-record review.

Client record lock

Public terms are the perimeter.

The paid value sits in the client record after authorization review: written boundary and the client-only receipt. The site should prove the boundary, not publish the work.

PUBLIC

Boundary only.

The public page proves the money rail, safety stops, refund posture, and stop line.

PRIVATE

Answer stays inside.

Case-specific handling and closeout labels belong in the client record.

CLIENT

Receipt, not public casework.

The client receives the written label and closeout record; the public site does not publish the case record.

FIT

No blank check.

AboutUs only sells what can be accepted, named, and checked under a written term.

File discipline

No vague middle.

Public terms are the boundary. The client-record detail belongs in the accepted AboutUs client record, and the client receipt proves what happened.

Public terms

Set the authorization boundary, acceptance rule, refund posture, safety stops, and payment rail without exposing the client-only record.

Client record

Carries the written boundary, private answer, and closeout posture.

Client receipt

Shows the client what was accepted, declined, refunded, or closed without making the record public.

Acceptance ledger

No blank check, no vague middle.

These terms are easiest to trust when the file has visible states: authorization, acceptance review, written boundary, refund path, or continuity subscription. Case-specific handling belongs only after the state is written inside the record.

AUTHReview, not acceptance

Authorization opened

48-hour review first — if we can't accept it, you're refunded before any work begins.

ACCEPTEDOutcome written down

Boundary accepted

The written boundary, intended outcome, and refund treatment are written before work starts.

REFUNDEDReturned before work

Wrong fit

Excluded, outside-scope, minor-involved, or otherwise declined matters leave AboutUs work before AboutUs work starts.

CONTINUITYContinuity, not resolved work

Subscription

Reputation Continuity reports and alerts. Reviewed items identified through it are bounded as a separate SKU or client-record matter.

Written boundary lock

What the record must name before work starts.

NO OPEN-ENDED FEE
BOUNDARY
What AboutUs accepts and what stays outside the engagement.
RECORD
The private answer stays inside the client record.
CLOSE
The client-facing receipt names the written outcome without publishing client-only detail.
LIMIT
Refund exceptions, stop items, and safety exits stay visible before work starts.
01

Who you're contracting with

AboutUsAgency Inc., 169 Madison Ave STE 38501, New York, NY 10016. We are a content-removal and reputation agency — not a law firm, and nothing here or on the rate card is legal advice. Questions: intake@aboutusagency.com.

02

What the authorization-gated rate card is for

The rate card carries only standard, well-bounded work where a flat price is honest: narrow, reviewable work with a written boundary before AboutUs accepts the matter. That’s it.

Anything broader or less certain — sensitive exposure, mixed scope, anything involving a minor, or news and court records — does not enter public authorization. The review gate moves it to a client-record check or a live consultation instead, so you’re never paying a flat fee for an uncertain outcome.

03

The 48-hour acceptance review

We review every authorized order within 48 hours. If it's outside the rate-card scope, something we've determined we can't remove, or otherwise a case we can't accept, you're refunded in full before any work begins — or, if you prefer, we move you to a client-record consultation. We only put a case under the results-based refund once we've accepted it.

In other words: paying is not the same as us accepting the case. We look first. If it isn’t something this rate card should cover, you get your money back before AboutUs work starts — or we keep it in client-record consultation only if you ask.

04

Results-based refund

Once we accept your order, each SKU is measured against one written closeout label. If that label is not verified within the stated window, you get your money back to your original payment method — in full for single-item SKUs, or pro-rata per unverified reviewed URL where a SKU is priced per URL. We issue the refund within 5 business days; depending on your bank it can take a few more days to appear. Each SKU’s exact terms are below.

SKU 01 · Search & Review Cleanup

Counts as done: The reviewed item closes with a written receipt that separates resolved work from fallback work.

Once we accept your order, if the written outcome above is not verified within 30 days, we issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days; depending on your bank it can take a few more days to appear.

SKU 02 · Single Post / Article Removal

Counts as done: Resolved label verified for the accepted post or article.

Once we accept your order, if the written outcome above is not verified within 30 days, we issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days; depending on your bank it can take a few more days to appear.

SKU 03 · Single Provider Cluster

Counts as done: Each accepted URL has a verified resolved label, or is refunded pro-rata if that label is not verified within the window.

Once we accept your order, any accepted URL without a verified resolved label within 30 days is refunded its even share of what you paid (price ÷ accepted URLs). We issue it to your original payment method within 5 business days; depending on your bank it can take a few more days to appear.

SKU 04 · Fallback Exposure Review

Counts as done: Fallback exposure label verified for the accepted URL on the named search engines.

Once we accept your order, if the written fallback outcome above is not verified within 45 days, we issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days; depending on your bank it can take a few more days to appear. Fallback exposure work does not change the original page.

SKU 06 · Mugshot / Record Removal

Counts as done: Resolved label verified for the accepted mugshot or record listing.

Once we accept your order, if the written outcome above is not verified within 30 days, we issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days; depending on your bank it can take a few more days to appear.

SKU 07 · Personal Info Removal

Counts as done: Resolved label verified for the accepted URL containing exposed personal information.

Once we accept your order, if the written outcome above is not verified within 30 days, we issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days; depending on your bank it can take a few more days to appear.

SKU 08 · YouTube Video Review

Counts as done: Resolved label verified for the accepted video, or for the accepted limited portion when the provider narrows the action.

Once we accept your order, if the written outcome above is not verified within 30 days, we issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days; depending on your bank it can take a few more days to appear.

Aggregate outcomes across eligible cases; individual results vary per your written service agreement.

SKU 00 · Digital Exposure Diagnostic

The Digital Exposure Diagnostic is a one-time paid report ($149), not removal work — so it is not measured against a removal label.

A one-time $149 report. After you authorize, we confirm the identifiers to search with you; the report follows within two business days of that confirmation. Fully refundable any time before we start preparing it — including if we decide we can't accept the request. Once the written report is delivered it is complete: it is not measured against any removal outcome, and it does not automatically credit toward later work.

05

The honest exceptions

A refund promise with no limits isn’t honest — it’s a claim we couldn’t keep. The limits are disclosed here as the buyer boundary, not as an after-the-fact sales trick.

  • Re-posts by a third party after a successful removal are new items — they don't reopen a completed order. (Ongoing re-posts are what Reputation Continuity is for.)
  • Inaccurate or invalid information you provide — wrong URLs, false details — means we acted on what you gave us, so the refund doesn't apply to that item.
  • Anything we tell you is unremovable before we accept your order isn't covered — we refund those up front rather than take them on at all.
  • Items already removed by the time we begin are refunded, not charged.
06

Subscriptions — Reputation Continuity

Reputation Continuity is a monthly subscription ($125 per keyword, per month, 3-keyword minimum). It is continuity coverage: keyword monitoring, monthly reporting, and alerts. It is not a removal promise; reviewable items identified through it are bounded separately as their own SKU or client-record matter.

You’re billed on your signup date for the keyword count you choose, and again on that date each month until you cancel. Before each renewal we email you a reminder with the date and amount. You can cancel anytime — we email you a secure link to your billing portal — billing stops from the next cycle and continuity keeps running through the period you’ve already paid for. You only ever pay for the month ahead, so there’s nothing to refund on cancellation.

MANAGE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

Cancel, switch payment method, or get an invoice. Enter the email you signed up with and we’ll email you a secure link to your billing portal — it is sent to that inbox and stays valid for a limited time. Billing stops from the next cycle; continuity keeps running through the period you’ve paid for.

Prefer not to wait? Email intake@aboutusagency.com and we can help cancel it without the portal.

07

What we need from you — and confidentiality

We work from a minimal private summary. You may also provide supporting documents — a redacted proof of identity, business registration, covered screenshots, or court records — through the public non-intimate intake or, after payment, the receipt-gated private case room. They go to private, access-controlled storage only the authorized team can open, and are automatically deleted no later than 120 days after receipt, sooner on request (see our privacy policy). The intimate or sexual original stays on your own device and out of our forms, storage, email, chat, or card authorization. If you choose AboutUs local fingerprinting, your browser sends only the mathematical fingerprint value, media type, and byte size; it does not send the file, filename, or preview. A separate third-party hash tool receives its own hash under its terms, and AboutUs stores only a client-supplied case number when you link one. Give us accurate private context — the refund is measured against what you tell us, and wrong or invalid information voids it for the affected item (see section 05). Your case is handled confidentially and never re-exposed in our process.

08

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. Prices are in U.S. dollars. The amount you pay is set by us on the server from the rate card. We do not collect card details, private-account payments, or open-ended off-file fees.

09

Adults only; minors

This service is for adults (18+) only. We work with adults (18+) only. If intimate images of someone under 18 are involved, report it immediately to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org, use NCMEC's Take It Down at takeitdown.ncmec.org, and contact local law enforcement. Do not send the content to anyone — including us. We never accept payment for anything involving a minor — it is never a commercial matter here or anywhere.

10

Changes & contact

We update these terms when our practices change and revise the date above; material changes are noted prominently. The terms in force are the ones posted here at the time of your authorization. Questions or refund requests: intake@aboutusagency.com · AboutUsAgency Inc..
