What a DMCA takedown notice has to include
Leaked copies of paid content are often handled as a copyright matter. U.S. law sets out what a takedown notice must contain, and what happens when the poster answers it.
A takedown notice to a site’s designated agent has to include substantially the following (§ 512(c)(3)): a physical or electronic signature of someone authorized to act for the copyright owner; identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the copies to be removed, with enough information for the site to find them; contact information for the person sending the notice; a statement of good-faith belief that the use isn’t authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; and a statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the sender is authorized to act for the owner.

Anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing can be liable for the damages that causes (§ 512(f)). That is why we confirm who holds the rights, and who may act for them, before any notice goes out.
If the person who posted a copy sends a counter notice, the statute describes the host putting it back 10 to 14 business days later, unless the sender first tells the host it has filed a court action (§ 512(g)).

Is this for agencies or individual creators?
Both. We work with adult creators on OnlyFans, Fansly, and other platforms, and with agencies authorized to represent them. AboutUs is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any of those platforms. We verify the relevant rights and authority before accepting removal work.
What does it cost?
AboutUs is a paid service. Agency and multi-creator work is quoted individually in writing after a fit review. The quote names the accepted links, the work, reporting, limits, price, and refund terms before any payment. The prices elsewhere on this site, such as Search & Review Cleanup at $1,250 per item (one search result or review) or NCII Removal at $2,750, are for one person’s own case. They are not agency, per-creator, or roster rates. The $495 Private Case Activation is a written case decision for one person, not removal work or a partnership fee. No subscription is required, and there is no automatic upgrade.
Does the TAKE IT DOWN Act cover leaked paid content?
It depends on the facts. The Act’s criminal provision does not cover images a person voluntarily exposed in a public or commercial setting, so content sold behind a paywall may fall outside it. Leaked paid content is often handled as a copyright (DMCA) matter instead. The Act’s 48-hour removal duty belongs to covered platforms after a valid request from the person shown or someone authorized to act for them. It is not an AboutUs turnaround. During the fit review we tell you which reporting path fits. This is general information, not legal advice.
